Robin Waite is the ‘Fearless Business Coach’, and since 2016 he has been helping business owners grow their businesses and shift from value driven exchange of ‘time for money’ to charging based on results and results alone.
Although Robin can help any business of all shapes and sizes, he specialises in helping coaches, consultants, creative agencies, accountants, freelancers and other service providers.
Robin is also an extremely experienced and effective at marketing himself, in fact, he wrote a book about it! Since 2015 Robin has published 5 books including Online Business Startup and his incredibly popular and valuable Take Your Shot.
Robin’s coaching business has become very successful, not least due to practicing what he preaches and implementing a diverse and consistent marketing strategy, which provides a ton of free value to his target customer base.
However Robin’s SEO wasn’t performing as well as he’d like. SEO is well understood to have higher conversion rates than many other forms of marketing, quite simply because when people want something, they search for it. Business coaching is an incredibly competitive SEO landscape and with only a maximum of 10 results to be found on page 1, being there can be incredibly valuable.
In August 2021 Robin approached Lilac James for a review of his SEO with aspirations of improving organic positions and driving relevant traffic to his website.
After a consultation Robin decided to commission Lilac James to complete an on page SEO project with three months of ongoing SEO development work.
Over the course of the 6 week on page project we worked hard to identify all top target keywords within Robin’s niche and re-optimised his website to improve the optimisation for target keywords plus newly identified search terms.
We restructured the websites metadata for best practice SEO and optimised the website copy and internal linking.
Once the on page project was completed we spent several months monitoring the impact of changes and fine tuning the SEO alongside building relevant content on high authority third party websites to improve the backlink profile.
